Our cat, Houdini, loves his fish toy. He watches it and sometimes just holds it in his paws while it flops about, or tries to figure it out. He hits it to see it come to life and jumps on it.
As a kitten he would play more intensely, but at 10 he actually likes just being with the fish, as if it is another living being, his friend at times.

I bought the water fountain for my daughter for Christmas. She has four cats and they love it so I got another one for her. My cat is old I got her the floppy fish and she plays with it once in a while, and a floppy fish for my daughters cats, they play with it all the time as they are young.

My 2-year-old tuxedo has taken to this fish. It's hard to know when he will decide to tackle it, but the catnip draws him in and then the movement of the fish keeps him engaged for a time. He does enjoy grabbing it and then giving it some good back-paw kicks.

When the package arrived I was excited, because I had been waiting anxiously for it.. I have 4 very happy cats and couldn't wait to see how they reacted. I have 2 young kitties and their father and a grandpa Tomcat. I thought the young'uns would be the first to play with it but their Daddycat was the one who grabbed it and started to rabbit kick on it. :-D It was hilarious to watch the fish writhing in Sammycat's paws. For once a toy that really lives up to your hopes! These things are awesome. You charge them and they flop around for a bit, then stop and the kitty goes to sniff but they're touch activated so they start up again. It was hilarious seeing my brave kitty first being spooked, then amazed, then having incredible fun with it. He kept going back to it all night long. My less brave kitty hid under the table but he'll come around to it eventually!
